Zach Seibers

Renewable Energy

Supervising Faculty: Mike Kilbey

Zach has been fortunate to have had the opportunity to do research for three years on two projects throughout his time as an undergraduate. He started as a sophomore, modeling a novel plug flow reactor, and during his last year as an undergraduate he began studying the morphology of poly (3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT)/Phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) photovoltaic devices. He enjoyed this research so much that he plans to continue studying thin film photovoltaic devices as a graduate student.
