Biography
Supervising Faculty: Dr. Daniel Costinett
Andrew grew up near Hunstville, Alabama. He attended Auburn University where he graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and participated in the Auburn University Marching Band. Beginning graduate school at UTK in 2016, he spent three years at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the Power Electronics and Electric Machinery Research Group. Currently, he is a PhD Fellow with Volkswagen Group of America at the Volkswagen Group Innovation Hub Knoxville. His research area is inductive wireless power transfer for electric vehicles.
