Biography
While studying chemistry and German at Albion College, Anna took an internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where she began to understand the abundance of possibilities in chemistry. Although her undergraduate work was focused in inorganic chemistry, she is excited to step out of her comfort zone and begin working in geochemical science. Her current project is aimed at improving extraction techniques for rare earth metals. Anna enjoys learning and talking about science to anyone who will listen. She hopes to use her passion for humor and writing to help make science more accessible to the public.
