Biography

Faculty Advisor: Howard Hall

I am a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Tennessee Knoxville (UTK), currently working towards a PhD in Energy Science and Engineering (ESE) through the joint UTK-ORNL Bredesen Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Graduate Education with current research focuses on nuclear nonproliferation and nuclear security policy. I also recently completed a MS in Nuclear Engineering at UTK with a focus in Nuclear Security Science and Analysis. My current graduate research pertains to improving nuclear security and safeguards in the nuclear fuel cycle, specifically for uranium enrichment facilities. During the 2018-2019 academic year, I served as the president of the Institute of Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) student chapter at UTK, and am now serving on the Central Regional Chapter (CRC) of the INMM Executive Committee as Secretary. I recently participated in the 2022 International School of Nuclear Law (ISNL) at the University of Montpellier in France and am working to complete a University Diploma in International Nuclear Law.
