Biography

David Vance developed an early interest in renewable energy and energy efficiency while working for his fathers EnergyRight focused construction company which prompted him to pursue a Bach at IUPUI. As a graduate student at UTK his research interests are now focused on energy efficiency through smart manufacturing. David is looking to join a company or research team after his expected graduation in 2024 that will help accelerate the US manufacturing industry towards Industry 4.0 with sustainability in mind.
