Ernesto Zuleta

Color Tech

Biography

Supervising Faculty: Joseph Bozell

Ernesto was born and raised in Colombia, a country with a wide range of energetic resources like coal, oil, natural gas, wind, solar energy and biomass. Since he was a child, he was fascinated with science and the natural world, which motivated his studies on Engineering later on. During his undergraduate and master studies, Ernesto focused his research interests in the production of energy from biomass. Currently, he is developing his doctoral program on Energy Science and Engineering with the objective of working on energy production from biological resources (biomass) as a way to contribute to the development of efficient, greener and sustainable energy. Beyond studying and researching, he enjoys reading, hiking, listening to music, dancing, and cooking typical food from his country.
