Jesse Piburn

Urban Systems Science

Biography

Faculty Advisor: Nicholas Nagle

My name is Jesse Piburn and I am a data scientist in the Computational Sciences and Engineering Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. I currently work in the Geographic Information Sciences and Technology Group focusing on geographic data science, spatio-temporal analytics, and machine learning. When not sending emails, I spend my time programming in R. Outside of work, I enjoy playing fantasy football, feeding ducks, and watching The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross. I am way too emotionally invested in the Tennessee Vols.
