Environmental/Climate Sciences
Biography
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Forrest M. Hoffman
I am working in computational earth science group in ORNL.I am interested in climate change and studying the impact of climate change in different earth system cycles. Apart from my studies, I like hiking, cooking and interacting to people.
Research
My research is mostly focused around droughts and it's effect on different types of vegetation in changing climate. Currently, I am using spatiotemporal data to understand these effects and hoping to apply machine learning tools to predict future drought conditions and how plants respond to it.
Education
I got my master's in entomology from Purdue University and did my undergraduate studies in Nepal
