De Lamater-Brotherton interned at GE Power in 2022 with the Combustion Materials and Processes group. He has presented at TMS 2024, TOFE 2024, TMS 2025, GRS 2025.
Education
He graduated from Trident Technical College in 2018 with an Associates in Applied Science: Welding Technology and from Clemson University in 2022 with a B.S in Materials Science and Engineering.
Research
As part of the Corrosion Science and Technology Group within the PSD at Oak Ridge, he is investigating high-temperature corrosion of Fe-based Reduced Activation Ferritic-Martensitic (RAFM) structural alloys, alumina oxide-forming coatings, and SiC/SiC composite functional materials in molten lithium and molten eutectic lead lithium environments for fusion applications.
