Mengling

Graduate Student
Program:

Data Science and Engineering (DSE)

Mengling earned her M.Sc. in Statistical Computing from the University of Central Florida. Before transitioning into data science and computational biology, she spent four years working as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

Research

Mengling’s research interests lie at the intersection of computational biology, machine learning and bioinformatics. She develops and applies data-driven approaches to understand complex biological systems, with a particular focus on high-dimensional and longitudinal biological data. Her work spans statistical modeling, machine learning, and multi-omics data integration. She is interested in building interpretable computational methods that help uncover biological mechanisms and translate large-scale biological data into actionable insights.
