Wilson graduated from Converse University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science.

As an undergraduate researcher, she applied machine learning and regression methods to help a non-profit clean and analyze data for funder progress reports. In a separate project, she used graph theory to develop minimal labelings for a family of self-assembling DNA structures under specified constraints. Wilson presented this research at MathFest, the Joint Mathematics Meetings (JMM), an MAA sectional meeting at the University of Tennessee, and Converse University’s RISE symposium, where she won Best Research in the Science and Math category.

She also completed a business intelligence internship at MailProtector and a Girls Who Code internship through my university. Wilson went on to earn a Master of Science in Computer Science with a focus on data analytics from the University of Tennessee.
