Biography
Bruce Pint is the group leader of the Corrosion Science and Technology group in the Materials Science and Technology Division at ORNL where he has worked since 1994. He received his Ph.D. in Ceramic Science and Engineering from M.I.T. in 1992 and has been conducting high temperature oxidation and compatibility research since 1986. Dr. Pint specializes in the study of minor alloying elements on oxidation resistance of alloys and coatings. He is also Deputy Manager for the ORNL Fossil Energy Program. In 2014, he was named a Fellow of both NACE International and ASM International. He has over 300 publications and is an Associate Editor of the journal Oxidation of Metals.
